We back up our system several times a day. However, we cannot use this to restore a specific template or playlist. Each user is responsible for his own data.
Backup
Go to the “Template” menu in the PRO section, select a template and click “Action” in the Actionbar. A dropdown will appear. Click here on “Backup“.
An “.xbak” file is generated and offered for saving. Save this file on your PC or MAC
The backup file contains the template, playlists associated with that template, and devices associated with those playlists.
In the PRO version, a template can be shared with other users. This backup also contains playlists and devices from the recipients of the shared template.
The backup file is encrypted and can only be decrypted by our system.
Restore
Go to the “Template” menu in the PRO section, click “Action” in the Actionbar. A dropdown will appear. Click here on “Restore“. A Pop-Up window will appear. Upload your “xbak” file here.

Important
There are two options when restoring. A complete restoration means that the template with all the playlists is deleted and replaced by the data from the backup file. If you select the option “Create a copy of the template from the backup file”, only the copy of the template from the backup file will be created.
Please note that restoring a shared template will also restore the recipients’ playlists. As with yours, all playlists will first be deleted and replaced with the backup.
Choose an option here and then click on “Restore“. The recovery may take a while. Please do not close the browser.
